I would like to say that I was hiking Everest when I came up with the idea for JIBS, but JIBS got started out of a need for an easy way to clean glasses and sunglasses. My sister-in-law has Down syndrome. My mother-in-law was always complaining about how dirty her daughter’s glasses were, a problem we all deal with on a regular basis, for ourselves and for our children. I realized one day when I was looking for a cleaning cloth for my glasses that like most days, I didn’t have one on me or in my car. I own several pairs of glasses and they all came with cleaning cloths, but I never had one when I needed it. That is when I decided to invent JIBS, so that my sister and I would never have to look through a dirty pair of glasses or sunglasses again, because we would always have the right tool for the job connected to our glasses! JIBS were born!
